Dr. Ann Kivney

Owner

Pets: Brooke (German Shepherd mix) and Mac (Airedale Terrier)

Dr. Kivney is a proud graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing in Friendswood since 1990. She opened Heritage Animal Hospital at its original location in Heritage Park in 1995 and moved to this location in 2007. Dr. Kivney always puts her clients and patients first and treats every pet like her own. In her spare time, she loves to babysit her grandson and granddaughter!!

Dr. Ashley Maxey

Veterinarian

Pets: Zoe (Golden Retriever) and five cats: Fitzwilliam, Gnar, 99, Sister, and Darcy

Joined the Heritage family: January 2018

Dr. Maxey has been working with animals ever since her very first job as a veterinary assistant at 14 years old. She has a lifelong passion for animal science, and it shows through in every patient interaction. Dr. Maxey graduated from Ross University in 2014, after which she spent a year doing further clinical studies at Purdue. She loves diagnostics and especially loves being able to solve problems and provide pet parents with answers. She also works in an emergency clinic a few weekends a month and enjoys the fast pace and variety of patients she gets to work with. In her free time, Dr. Maxey enjoys horseback riding, baking, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and her young daughters.
